A sort feature for Game Archives

Sort:

I would really like the option to sort my games by my opponents' rating. I have over a thousands games so it would be nice to see how I have matched up against higher rated players. I think it would be a great feature for the site.

Any other suggestions for the game archives?

I couldn't agree more.  A sortable database would be swell.  You should be able to sort by opponent, opponent rating, wins, losses, date, color.  We've got explorer for openings and such, so I don't think it would be necessary to make that a sortable data table.

Heck, maybe the way to go would be to make the games archive downloadable into a spreadsheet program like Excel.  Then, you could sort by wins+high rating-PrawnEatsPrawn.

There must be a bunch of stats geeks on this website who would welcome such an upgrade.

This sounds easily added and like a great idea!

if you put them into a prog such as chessbase light it will do that for you by simply clicking on the col headers.

Do you have to purchase the program?

I'd like to be able to assign different flags to games.

That would be a really cool feature to be added to the game archives. The game archive really needs to be updated!

The idea of reordering the current games list has been discussed ...
