Well... I don't think they accepted rated challenges before either.
BUT THAT'S PRECISELY THE REASON WHY THEY NEED TO BE THE ONES CREATING THE RATED CHALLENGES FOR US TO ACCEPT!!! WHEN I GO TO THE "OPEN SEEKS" SCREEN, I SHOULD SEE RATED CHALLENGES FROM ALL OF THE COMPUTERS, AND DECIDE IF I WANT TO ACCEPT THEM. GETTING RID OF THE OPTION SIMPLY MAKES THIS SITE A MUCH WORSE PLACE THAN IT OTHERWISE WOULD BE.
We should form a movement with the purpose of bringing back rated challenges from at least ComputerEasy and ComputerMedium.
P.S: They did accept rated challenges before. I used to play a lot of 10 second matches with Computer impossible to get more points.
Looking forward to hearing an explanation for this change.

No, don't look too deep into my recent (past 2 months or so) games. When chess.com stopped making live chess available on V2, I had to get used to the V3 interface, and in the process I lost a lot of games. I'd been playing against the computer on V2 for years, and the new interface really screwed me up - I just didn't feel how I used to feel when playing against the computer, and it just didn't work.
But anyway, now the staff seems determined t make sure that I NEVER get used to the V3 interface... because if it doesn't bring back rated games against computers, I WILL NEVER PLAY ANOTHER GAME ON CHESS.COM EVER AGAIN!!!
It must have been a blow, realizing that you will never break 1900 if they don't bring the rated challenges back.

I disagree. Let games against computers be unrated and let players use engines against them if they want. It won't harm anyone and some people just feel they have to play with engines so at least let them do it unrated against a computer which doesn't harm anyone else.

Explain? I don't care if they explain it now, in two months or in a billion years. There's nothing to explain. Just let us play rated games against computers again, and I don't care if you never say a word about this whole thing.
