I also play only 1 0 bullet and correspndence. (Night and day)
My bullet rating has a lot of fluctuation as well, ranging between 1150 and 1400. (My corresondence is 1750ish)
Bullet is streaky...when I am in the zone, premoving well, anticipating, I win. When I am losing, I am hesitant, slow with the mouse and lose on time.
I am an old guy so my fingers do not move as fast on some days as others.

Wow thay is a really big flux range.
Yeah I bet a huge part of bullet is attitude and mood.

Yeah sometimes I'm at like 1550 and then drop back to 1425 or the other way around... It is largely psychology and you will usually (as Jimmykay said) get a pretty long streak.
bullet chess is cool and best!!

If you are going to play bullet, go your settings and select "pre-move" as well as auto queen.

Yeah, a good deal of variance is to be expected. On a really bad day, I'll dip into the 1900s.

I'm a bullet guy, 1 mins with no increment is almost all I do online.
Been doing it for a while now. (including an old account maybe three years)
So I used to be arround 1400... I'd stay there, make it too 1500 ocasionally and shoot back down. Then I'd make a nice run up to 1600, and then fight to stay at 1500 and so on. Anyway, this was when I was actively studying and playing OTB. Now that I've stopped. I sit usually around 1730. Some days, I just feel like I'm in a bullet mood and I tell myself, I should go play. I bet I can hit 1800. And usually I do. I've made it up there several times. and usually float back down.
Does anyone else feel this kind of flux? It seems like if I really focus and try I can raise it about 100 points. But when I'm playing "lazy" bullet, it goes back down.
