It wouldn't be a "takeback." He's asking for a move not to be finalized until he releases the piece *and* hits submit.
Can u make an optional "slip protector" on live chess?

I don't see the harm in this. This feature would obviously be disallowed for bullet chess (for obvious reasons) but for something like G/15, I like it. I wouldn't personally use it, but I always support more options if they serve a decent cause.

Why would it be disallowed for bullet chess? It would be bad strategy to use a submit button because it would make the player so slow, but I don't see why it would have to be disallowed.
Live chess has a touch-move rule. I hope chess.com doesn't add this "submit" button in live chess, and if they do, they don't allow it for rated games.
No they dont, if you click a piece, u can move another piece, its just when you move it, you may click on t-he wrong square or accidently drop the piece while dragging it, this would make it more like real chess as in real life chess, you cant accidently move a piece to a square u didn't want it to go to
The submit button has nothing to do with the lack of touch move, It just stops players from making moves they didn't want to.

You're splitting hairs here... there's really no difference as to whether it is disallowed or not because no one in their right mind would use it for bullet. BUT... if you want to get SUPER technical... an argument for disallowing it would be that some people may activate it for bullet by accident and get upset and not know what's going on.

Not true. Now, if you are thinking of Bc4, you can hover your Bishop to the c4 square to better visualise the board after the potential Bc4. The cost, however, is that you might accidentally let to of the mouse before you're set on the move.
qpalzme, one of us is unclear on the concept of touch-move. If you touch a piece, with a mouse or a hand, with the intention of moving it, you must move it. (Providing it's a legal move.)
If you let go of a piece and it lands on a legal square, you must leave it there!
And yeah, I've lost hundreds of games due to mouse slips. Here's a secret though: once you're used to the "submit move" button, you will still make just as many "mouse slips", and you'll be frustrated by having to make that extra click when you're low on time!
In the first part, you mentioned touch move, you definition of it is correct, its just that chess.com only has half of this, online, you do not have to move a piece you've clicked, but when you let go of a piece it has to stay there.
In live chess you can click on a piece and move another one altogether,chess.com doesn't have touch move.
They should have a computer watching all the games played live and online, if annyone tryed to do a bad move, the "coach" should warn you!

Staff look at all of these, right?
Staff do try to keep an eye on good ideas that bubble up in the forums, but because of the nature of the medium, some stuff does slip below the radar. The other alternative is creating an enhancement request ticket (via "Help & Support" at the bottom of the page), but then we miss out on the kind of refinement that happens with the public conversation.
As it happens we're now investigating another option for user feedback that might offer the best of both worlds: durable visibility & a channel for broader discussion.

That would be interfering with the result of games, mine isnt

Oh.. but you must look at the bright sides, no bad moves done, perfect chess!
On live chess, I sometimes make a move I didn't want to, I accidently click on the wrong square or let go of the piece at the wrong time. Can you please put an optional submit move button on live chess?
