I looked at the banner above:"Melik and Me W/ Brotherjosh &GM Melik on chess.com/tv is live and OPEN TO PLATINUM AND DIAMOND MEMBERS!!!!" If we free members have enough dealing with ads for dating sites and t-shirts, just about no tactics trainer problems at all, and not being able to be super admin on teams. I request that this limitation be removed. If not, I will either live with it and just be angry, or quit chess.com and go to ICC. This is annoying, as I am an active chess.commer and I think this is what chess.com wants-money...but not from me! Or maybe yes...if they listen...

It's almost torture...I'm not included. :( You see, I love chess and this website. If this website is unfair, I'm going to go ballistic.

I'm sorry to hear that. :'( But now that I think about it, it does exclude free and gold members. But.... why? Why would they?

Chess.com is an organization. As such, it needs money to keep things going (they have people to pay too!).

However...

Chess.com Staff! If this hasn't been done, please consider it:

A once a week tournament (whatever time control) where the winner will get a free one month plantinum membership! This could be divided into ranking categories like normal. If the free members aren't paying anyway, might as well give them a chance to get a premium membership. Who knows, perhaps they will want to pay for more!

phylar makes a series of bad points.Give prizes based on performance on chess.com; not performance in tournaments, but rather performance in discussions, threads, etc., performance that is in keeping with your values of politeness, access, inviting, open to new members, etc.

I always go to the outlet store and yell at those people who buy TVs and refrigerators that it's unfair
