I don't understand how someone could hate conditional moves. I find them as a convienence to speed up a game. When someone plays a conditional move, I don't freeze up and forfeit. I see it as a compliment that they expected the move I played.
Conditional moves (preview)

There is a very simple solution to having conditional moves played against you. You just need to be less predictable. If the move is forced then conditional moves just help to speed up the game.

So if its there to speed up a game against a newbie who starts at 1200 today would they understand a conditional move or will it freak them out?
That is one reason why I sometimes log in with my fb account because on there I'm a newbie.
As for postal chess how do you make a conditional move these days?

Come on don't you see that chess.com has spoiled my reputation on here with conditional moves? I used to be at 1100 ish then some punk comes along throws some conditional moves in my face and now I'm <1100 in my rating which came from a 30+ loosing run.
Personally I blame a lot of conditional moves for my downfall.
News flash. 1100 is still a sucky rating. You're not really losing anything.
Why only Middle Eastern? What about Central America, East Asia, and South America?
(and I'll be ordering a few myself)
