Display of remaining vacation time

Hello to everyone!

While I was looking one on-going game (opponent is on vacation), I
suddenly realized that he has 20 days (that was written on my mobile,
maybe (great) bug) until loss on time. The real time is 14 days of
course. But it comes to my mind...

Probably, everyone (ok, not everyone, but some players) is tired/bored
of seeing "3 days" or "7 days" or whatever next to the "Vacation"
sign. And what's my purpose?

I just suggest to change this "7 days" into "7 days + remaining vacation time", for example:

  • if player has '8 days & 3 hours' of remaining vacation, it can be shown as (in 14 days/move game) "22 days" left.
  • That would be shown just in case opponent is on vacation (of course)

On 14-day games, I would be shown as having more than 3 months remaining time left to move.

I must say it would be interesting ;)

But let's say it would be great for tournaments. When other players are complaining about loooong games (especially last one in a round).

Haha, what a game if you click on "Vacation...".

Actually, I agree with this one.

Marchess28, yeah we're going to play 1000 moves I think.

goatt23

Yeah this is annoying.  I want to know how much time an opponent has left.

MSC157

Sorry, how do you mean? :)

Two indirect methods described here ...

to find out how much vacation time another member has remaining.

Yes, I know that, my purpose was just to show all remaining time (the longest possible). Because there are people on the tourneys in lost position, who spends all the vacation time, hoping opponent will resign or lose on time when they come back...
