Hello,

So this has happened to me several times - a draw is declared when one party can't make a move, despite the fact that the party that can't move is clearly losing and about to be checkmated.

Is this really a draw, or a glitch in the site?

It's not your move again until your opponent moves. So when do you plan on checkmating him if he can't move?

The situation is called Stalemate. Because your opponent's king is not under attack, you don't win. And because your opponent has no legal moves, the game is over.
