Eek! Did I really just mail everyone?!

So I started a tournament for the Vulture, and saw ths handy "Post Announcement" link in the menu. Figuring I was posting something on a "tournament announce" thread or subforum or something, I glibly wrote it up and sent it out.

And then I got a message in my mailbox. Ack!

Put it this way - had I known that was what I was doing I'd never have done it. If I got seventeen of these a day I'd be a grumpy pumpkin.

Maybe you haven't seen much abuse but this seems like a terrible, terrible, idea.

lol. Yes, you did send the message to EVERYONE who is already registered in the tournament. Really nothing you can do to change it

Lawduck thought they were messaging everyone on chess.com, which wasn't the case.  I thought this the first time I did an announcement.
