End game result pop up interrupts chat.

When I finish a game and go to type  thankyou/gg or say something to my opponent, very often, I'll go to press enter just as the pop up appears infront of the chessboard that says something like "black won by checkmate", for some reason the pop up stops the chat function and when I press enter it goes to the pop up add or something, opens up a new tab, and by the time I get back to completing my message(the last few letters are often also interupted by this pop up) and sending it, the person has left.

This has happened so many times and is rather frustrating, is it possible to allow the keyboard focus to remain on chat when the end game result pop up appears?
