Europe is a swear word in US and Britain? I mean, I know you're not serious but I don't even get the joke (?)
European flag as an option

It is not a joke, look how Kerry was made fun of for looking European, or how the majority of British people want to leave Europe. Europe is very unpopular in those countries, rivaling only maybe the UN in low esteem by Republicans in the US.

Well, if they give you a European flag, then I want a North American flag. Or maybe even an Earth flag. Or a Solar System flag. Or a Milky Way galaxy flag. I'm just sayin'.

You already have the option of an earth flag. Besides, Europe has a flag, your other entities do not.

Ha ha, I never even checked for an Earth flag. (I don't really care about these things.) That's just too funny.

Well, about as funny as the US having a flag, after all, it is only a federation of states, and not a particularly functional one at that. By your account, one should have flags only for individual US states.

They don't. It is only portrayed this way by our hyped-up media.

You mean that polls on this issue are fake? I doubt it.

I don't see an Earth flag to pick. I want an Earth flag!
(When are we going to set up a match with those Martians? They're so smug, they think they're so smart!)

Here's the latest poll I could find:
http://yougov.co.uk/news/2013/01/21/eu-vote-stay-40-leave-34/
States that 40% of British would vote to stay in, 34% would vote to leave.

Europe is discussed in the UK. Innacurate to say majority do not want it. If Europe stops building bureaucracy and instead builds a better-Europe then it's popularity would increase.

I cannot say I am surprised by your position. What is it with the UN telling Russia what to do in Tchechenia, right? And why do they insist on our friend Assad stopping his civilian massacres. Yeah, we would be so much better without the UN, they are such a hindrance, right?

This is less of a suggestion and more of a political debate. A very hot and dangerous one too. I won't say what I'm thinking. But I'll go as far as to say the world would be better without the UN.

The U.N. supports regime change in Syria because of the influence of countries such as the U.S., France, Britain, Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc. Those countries don't care about the civilian population of Syria. They supply weapons and money to the "rebels" who continuously massacre Syrian civilians.

The thing the UN does is rule the USA which is an international problem.
You don't know what you're talking about.

Right, looks like the US media keeps you really well informed... did you hear about the conspiracy of the lizards from outer space as well?

If you knew anything about the U.S. media then you would know how ignorant your comment is.

In before the lock.
For the not-too-much political part (ie a European flag) : the 'international' icon pretty much makes sense as 'I am no hard-line nationalist'. It's not the same of course, but I guess it is still enough for many of the people that would use the European flag.

I don't know how much you know about the US, but coming from an American, I don't bear any animosity toward Europe, and I don't know anyone who does.
There may be some Republicans who believe that Europe is too liberal, and I live in a very liberal community, so I wouldn't know much about that, but even if it is true, you're exagerating your point. In general, Europe is not thought of negatively here in the US.
I wonder why there is no option to show nationality as European. I realize that Europe is a swear word in the US and in Britain, where most of the employees of this website are, but if Wales and Scotland can have their flag, I don't see why those who grew beyond the nationalistic phase should not be able to express their sense of belonging to the European project as well.
Of course, some might think there are other things to worry about on this site, like about the Android app not working or thematic tournaments being phased out, but still, a bit of listening by the management here on this issue would be nice.
