Express if you like or do not like the new version of the site

They will care if a descent and good enough chess site opens next year and they will see all the chess flocks migrate to friendly climate
but then it will be too late
Even if they stuck with v2, that could happen. In fact, not adding new features and modernizing the design could cause people to look for greener pastures (and has). Businesses have to make decisions all the time that ultimately can come back and bite them and the bottom-line. Only time will tell if v3 is one of those moments.
I've already stated my opinion that the site will move on and continue to grow with v3.

These complainers are burning the candle at both ends and here's what I mean; Martin guessed that 20% would leave. This thread was started in Oct. The membership was 15.5 million. Now its 16 million. These people are making a mockery out of what the OP intended the thread to be. EARTH TO MEMBERS-- NOBODY CARES! If you have to scroll and you don't like it, NOBODY CARES! If you have to learn buttons and sequence options, NOBODY CARES! If Roger OT and xming want to leave, NOBODY CARES! This thread reminds me of a great jazz tune by Les MaCann and Eddie Harris, 20%? "Compared To What"??
Nobody cares for a troll like you. Shut up and stuff the pictures.

Thanks again for starting this thread venue. V3 taught me to block xming. I would of never learnt that in any other thread.
I have heard from a reliable source that Erik has hired RJC to be in charge of blocking people. That makes him the BlockHead.

No I don't have to change at all.I have the freedom of choice. A pity that some of you dictators fail to understand that.
I can and will walk away. My money will go to a product that suits me.
Here's a thing to remember, no one cares if you leave. The only person who loses something is you, the site doesn't depend on you $2 for it's survival. So if you want to leave, please do so right away. And one more thing, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Nimzo, do you want like an award or something for winning if we all leave?

I don't want to read through five hundred or more posts to find the answer to this question, so I'll just ask here: um, bug reports? (I gather there's a system for making them. I've just used relevant discussion threads.)

As to that 20% number, I asked the question in 4 of my groups. I had 12 do not like v3 and 1 does like v3.

chungle...where is the vote chess game you started?
It was a challenge I issued: https://www.chess.com/votechess/view_group_challenge?id=156368
The SA of the team I challenged had initially tried to challenge TPOC but neglected to, I suspect, press the create button because his message to me -- I ask vote chess/match challenge creators to message me directly since I have most notifications for TPOC turned off -- sent me to the vote chess challenge creation form.
That led me to believe that there was a disconnect between a challenge created in version 3 versus version 2 such that one created in one wouldn't notify correctly to the other.
Since I was loathe to enter version three I tried to create the challenge wormrose (the SA of a large number of flank opening vote chess teams and a marvelously dedicated individual) wanted from the version two system. Unfortunately the database of opening positions isn't complete in version two and there is no FEN capability to create challenges. I therefore endeavoured to investigate the version three/two dichotomy vis a vis challenges and utilize the FEN creation capability in the version three vote chess challenge area. However, there isn't a simple means to create the FEN in the first place - so for expediency I used another database site to create the FEN and pasted it over.
The creation of a game challenge does in fact still translate to version two even if that challenge cannot be created there.
Unfortunately, during the course of that I had to subject myself to that mobile atrocity of a UI that is version three. It's horrible. Really.
Specifically, I don't like the fact that there is no game seeking grid on the new version, at least that I can find. No, I'm not going to read 100+ pages of comments to see if I am missing something.

In the menu. Help > Report a Bug

chungle... that lead me to a red banner that said I needed to be an admin to create a group. I am looking for the game that I can join.

OK. Thanks.

I sent you an invite to TPOC. Once wormrose accepts the challenge I'll post an advert in the notes.
If you join the group you may want to turn off notifications as I send out several hundreds of challenges a week and the resultant notifications can be overwhelming -- just manually check the match page for matches in your rating to join; there will always be plenty.
Apologies to the thread for this digression.
Maybe a little setup board popout? That would be a cool menu item.
Yeah, an option from the FEN entry location would be more convenient. Would help for Daily games, in general.
