If you are seeing what I think you are then you should be able to change that in your settings, unless you are talking about the newer iOS app.

Yes, where the quotation marks are "sometimes" located it currently says "18 hours ago". I've seen this come and go, hit or miss as it were. Perhaps it should be noted that I am an Apple user.

The quote and edit icons only show when you hover your cursor over the post. Or if you are on the mobile website, when you tap the post.

I think it's also important to have the graph option next to the game in live as it brings a sense of unity which is currently missing.

Seek graph can be seen by choosing Open Challenges.

the quote icons show up 1 out of 4 times. (I'm estimating but I think that's a good estimate).

I have not seen this "edit icon" using V3. (Currently on my phone using inferior V2)

Right but I think it shouldn't be an option it should just be automatically next to the board unless you chose to hide it.

For some people, it might be nicer. Maybe an option to define what panel loads initially.

Reading the comments about new V3 platform I can't help it to think about the finale of Michellangelo Antonioni film "Blow Up"

cause  sometimes reality is the strangest fantasy of all  CoolCool

They are all happy with V3 and they want us to use V3 too

but we are still nostalgic of V2   WinkCool

When the game starts the numbers are double it, and  returns into some like chinese hieroglyphs, sorry to say..

I like more the new v3 version.

Avatar of usernaym

I like the old version more, not easy to explain why but I find the old version much more user-friendly and very very well designed and thought out. With the new version, I feel much less comfortable. And I am not convinced it is just because I am used to the old version, the new version feels simply not as user-friendly IMO.

Avatar of KoZmaj

I find personally the new version more user friendly, many features are now one click away, not needing to search through the depths of the site. And i like when they are adding new features.  I guess many people don't have the patience to get used to.  My advice is to go through the whole site, click every link and see what is doing.  There is an effort that is needed to put to get used to something new. And maybe that effort is something that some folks find annoying, they just want to play chess, not learning  new interfaces happy.png

Avatar of JustADude80

I don't want to make that effort. I want t o keep enjoying v2 like I have for years. I do this for fun. If it becomes work, that is bad. Frown

My recommendation is to try V3 for a month and then see what V2 feels like.

I am a fan of V3 BTW

Why chess.com uses spies or totally indifferent members like KoZmaj to ask us to be tortured for one more month in order to learn V3?Cool

(I think you have lost the ball somewhere)CoolCool

That's not normal. First try clearing your cache.

If that doesn't fix it, bug report it. There is a bug report icon in the help menu.

We have really tried hard to keep things as similar as possible while also making improvements. If any of you have any issues, cannot find something, or have specific suggestions, use the (?) icon in V3 and send in a suggestion or bug report. I personally see EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE

The need for "effort" and "patience" coupled with an inadequate GUI says it all about the currency of V3. The fact that the designer team are requesting "bug report" feedback illustrates that they are not on the same wavelength as practical chess playing users. A useful partial temporary solution would be an explanatory comprehensive LEGEND that goes beyond a Q & A "summary survey" .  Appearance and intuitiiveness does matter and a recognition, that for most members, they just want to play chess with the strogest opposition they hope to be able to handle on the way to improvement . "Speciality" resources injected into the site could be "iconed" for distinctiveness and simplicity and would tweek the interest of the average player when wishing to explore and expand their inquisitive nature within what I believe is the best comprehensive pay-for online site, and I play on several.
