Folks that never resign...

Is just a shitty thing to do (against etiquette = shitty) regardless of everything else.

And people do it mostly because they are little children about losing a game.

One can only hope that karma would get those infantile individuals back in the end.

Let's always be on the lookout for reasons to hate people, because hating is fun.

1. Grow Up

2. No one is required to resign because you think they should

3. Stalemate is always a possibility

4. if it bothers you that much, bolck them, and move on

OP, if you were to have that much advantage in a game but couldn't manage a checkmate then you deserve the anguish of waiting for the next move.

people usually always resign in blitz games i cant say for others gamemodes because i dont play them

Agree, but you must be ready to face it. It isn't a big deal anyway.

For Fun.  It's true.  It's about not giving in & having the room to take at least a bit more out of the game. 

*sigh* I'm ALWAYS late to the parties.

btw...I once bored a better player into a loss.  Took ages, running around with my king & pawn.....I derserved every point I won when he eventually timed out.   This is why the scores here are as light-hearted as the game should be.  

There is nothing wrong to play until checkmate or stalemate as long as you actually play intead of for example just waiting until your clock runs out. If you are down ton of material you must have blundered, there is a chance your opponent will blunder too.
