You have issued a challenge. Waiting to find an opponent rated 1525-1825...
Your account is currently flagged for potentially suspicious play. This may temporarily delay your game seeks. Please continue to follow the Fair Play Policyand your account will return to normal very soon.

Fair Play Policy

Chess.com encourages players to be kind and show good sportsmanship. Our Fair Play policy expects that players will not...

  • intentionally disconnect during games
  • stall to make opponents wait unnecessarily
  • frivolously abort games because they don't want to play black, etc. (Note that we have now implemented a limit on the frequency with which users may abort games; please Abort only when necessary. Also see below.)

If your account is flagged for habitually breaking this policy, your play will be restricted, requiring you to wait 5 minutes between games (including aborted games).

Please note, our Fair Play Policy also prohibits use of outside assistance (including engines, tablebases, other players, etc.) which you can read up about here.

Tips to Avoid Aborting Games!

Aborting games too often will temporarily suspend your ability to abort games. This means that if you cannot play, you will have no choice but to resign (or risk further sanctions described above, by abandoning your game or disconnecting). If you have to abort, then do so of course, but whenever possible, use the features available to minimize your need to abort chess games!

Do not Abort games if your opponent will not move at the beginning of a game: The server will do it for you!

On his or her turn, each player has 15-20 seconds to make their first move. If this does not happen, the game will be automatically aborted. This has a negative effect on the Fair-Play record of the player failing to move. (But if you hit Abort, it affects your record! It's best to be patient for a few seconds.)

Do not Abort games to find preferred opponents: Restrict your challenges and/or filter the Seek graph instead!

Don't just hit Start Game and hope for the best! If you are not willing to play anybody, click on the "Rating Options" link and configure your challenge to get a game you will really want to play.

The only thing I can think of is I take a while to move sometimes. But if I'm playing a 30 min. match then I might need to go pee etc... Here's a friendly suggestion If you all (chess.com) have a problem with people taking too long then just put an abandon timer on it after X amount... Please and thank you. That would be a lot better than trying to guess how long I can take.

Other than that, if it's a 30. min match then I might take a few minutes to think from time to time, It feels wierd, like chess.com could be the brain police...

Your account is flagged for a reason u know, it's not for nothing. The reasons could be that you have had assisted engine use, you abused someone in chat potentially, stall opponents, intentionally disconnect.

it sometimes goes on for me, i've done nothing wrong. it could happen after a good game sometimes

Thanks, it's validating to hear that it's not only happening to me.

Sometimes after a game is finished, I do the computer analysis and it opens in another tab and when I get back, it says another connection has been detected or something like that. One time Alexandra Botez was streaming on twitch and he said it on her and she was just playing like normal, so I think it is just a buggy glitch, super sensitive.
