Holy crusade against cheaters and secret inquisition

I learned from several players here that the administration of this site makes the "holy crusade against cheaters" closing accounts without any warnings or explanations. Besides medieval stories of witch hunting, inquisition etc. it reminds me as well the "holy war" of Bush against the "Axis of Evil". I find that such barbaric methods are more disgusting than the cheating itself. Any feedback?

Since when does it take more than average wisdom to recognize a steaming pile?

Because threads like this tend to flame up. Accusations of cheating stir up very nasty attitudes, name-calling, accusations-they go very nasty, very fast.

chess.com doesn't want to deal with that, so it makes sense to lock it up in a private group. Maybe that's not the solution you'd employ, but it's not your site. And trust me-cheating "discussions" are never civilised discussions, featuring respectful exchange of opinions. They're ugly flame wars.
