iPhone notifications annoyingly pop up while playing

Has anyone else experienced this? I'll be thinking deeply about my next move, and then notifications will start popping up annoyingly in my face.

I don't think these notifications should show up when the app is open.

Or perhaps a 'suppress notifications' option in some setting somewhere.

I have this happening to me as well, whenever I have a game board open for longer than a few moments - very annoying. The worst thing is that it usually pops us 3 or 4 times in a row, even after I hit okay.

Great free app though overall - REALLY glad you guys made it!

A similar problem to this on the iPhone is that I keep getting 'My Move' beep notifications, which could happen in the middle of the night, even though I've logged out of Chess.Com on the iPhone application. The only way to avoid these unwanted notifications is to switch off the iPhone. Is there a straightforward solution to this? Thanks ..
