Hey guys,

i just noticed many members are kicked out of the site because moderators can't stand their opnions about this site. what do you think?

i think it's TERRIBLE!

actually, we never kick people out because of opinions. we kick people out for breaking the rules. the common ones are:

- cheating
- multiple accounts
- abusive/offensive language or pictures
- stalking/abusing other members

we appreciate all opinions that are shared in a courteous and thoughtful manner.

Nah, Erik is a very conciliatory fella'.  Kohai would never be able to bring herself to do it.

CHEATING GOES ON HERE...IN MY LAST GAME BLACCK MOVED HIS BISHOP AGAINST MY KNIGHT AND WAS THEN ALLOEW TO CASTLE...BEFOR I COULD MOVE THE  SCREEN DECLARED HIM THE WINNER...KICK ME OFF OF THIS SITE BUT I HAVE BEEN PLAYING CHESS FOR 57 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ARENA SUCH AS THIS..... IT IS NOT ONLY DYSFUNCTIONAL BUT DISHONEST....

As we all know, "cap locks" is cruse control for cool.

Also, that would be hacking, not cheating. Hacking is going against the rules of the game; that does not include using software, because that's on his/her computer, not the servers.

I find that hard to believe. Which colour were you playing?

I looked at all three of Taurasi's games showing in live chess. Nothing is odd beyond the move count. Two games were 2|12 and one 10|0. The games lasted 11, 8, and 9 moves before he lost on time. Perhaps he doesn't understand time controls?

Most probably he is facing connection problems - he is not understanding it, and blaming the site for it. He should have a broadband - not dial-up - connection in order to play live chess. If he alreeady has broadband, he should call the ISP helpdesk to troubleshoot his internet connection speed.

Pay Membership and i can assure you that you will not get kicked out.

Why on earth would anyone paying for membership be refunded if they are kicked out for breaking the rules.

When you sign up to this website you agree to the chess.com rules, and anyone paying for premium membership has still to follow the rules.  If they can't follow them that is their problem, chess.com does not have to give any refunds.  By agreeing to the rules if they can't then follow them, its the individual members fault not chess.com

Just because your a member does not exempt you from the rules, you still can't cheat and all that.
