my email address is not invalid!

I registered and received an activation email. To test the settings, I logged out and tried to log back in. I was advised my password was invalid. I had cut and pasted the same password to register and on this login try. I then requested a “forgotten” password and when I entered my email address, I was advised that my email address was invalid too. On a later attempt to log in, my password was finally accepted, otherwise I would be locked out permanently. When I tried to contact forum feedback, I could not send because, again, my email address was deemed invalid. So this post is the only way I can tell forum personnel what happened to me.

I urge chess.com to check the software's definition of “invalid”. My email is definitely valid.
