I just tried to create a custom daily challenge against a random opponent. The interface has changed and I cannot find the option to choose my color (which appears to be randomly determined). Where is it? If truly missing, could it be brought back?
You can only choose color in an unrated game.

To clarify, I know the option is not available on iPad, so I use my laptop (where the option has been there for years) to create my games.

Not true. I want the option to choose color to ensure I play 50% as White and 50% as Black. Random cannot guarantee that (if I create four games with random color, I may end up playing the same color in all four).

Yes, within 4 games, random color assignment won't guarantee 2 blacks and 2 whites, but over the long term, random assignment works quite well.
Leaving it up to individuals doesn't. Some of them will choose all white or all black.
I was hoping this thread was going to answer my question,but it hasn't- have received two challenges saying,'I play white',then it's set up with me on white. I don't want to be assigned white in every game,especially when it's a rematch and I've had white in the first game-can't find out how to change it ,though(if possible).
