Poll: Should the notes feature be disabled?

Anybody who plays live chess has most likely gotten a rude and off color note from another player. Rarely is the notes feature used for its intended purpose. I know, I can just delete anything malicious. But still, it is less likely that another user would attack you in a private message than a note because they can get reported for sending threatening messages, unlike notes which can get deleted at any time. Who here agrees that the notes fearure should be disabled?

you can prevent the leaving of such notes if you so desire. navigate to privacy and select "only friends can leave notes".
