You could: take a screenprint and use Paint to save the image as a .gif file for later review; or, if you understood FEN diagrams, you could jot down the puzzle's configuration and add a line of text to a .txt file containing your record of earlier puzzles (perhaps to be added to chess software to present as a puzzle to be tackled again).
