Why American customizes other country's culture to what they like?

飛車 is not rook, 桂馬 is not knight.

We use kanji for pieces, not emoji.

This is correct. If you read and write kanji I'll give you the web address to play shogi with the Japonese

I like Shogi, I learned it first before I learned chess. My best friend introduced me Shogi when I was 8 years old to defeat my other friends in chess. I use to do more sacrifices in chess, since shogi is more of sacrificing pieces than maneuvering pieces. As I grow up, I still play with my best friend, making me find more counters during shogi or chess game.

I really want to play shogi with other people. Cuz most people here on our home only knows chess.

For me Chess is for those who want to simplify the game easily, Shogi is for those who want to add spice to the game.

There is also 81dojo, but I think that has already been stated here. I like that website since it has a lot of very strong players on it.

Frankly speaking, I hadn't even heard of such chess and now I am curious about it. Is it hard to play?

You forgot the 2-forward-1-over-only knights
SacrifycedStoat
Also, I just remember the general shape of the Japanese characters, I have no idea what any of the mean

Shogi is not hard per say as in that it can be complicated but not hard
