Stat on how many games won on time?

It would be really cool to see percentage of games won/lost on time. How hard would it be for chess.com to add this? Some people I feel they rely 90% on winning on time, and really use time as part of their strategy. Others just beat me because they kick my butt, are flat-out better chess players than me and would win given infinite time. It would be interesting to check this hunch by looking at these stats. Also, I could look at my own stats to see if I lose on time too often, so should perhaps play longer games.

i have lost at least 70% of my games on time

Average chess players rely on time to boost their rating

it really is unfair

I have won only 2 games on time after playing 1500 games

your rating is not a good indication of how good a player you are on rapid in chess. com.  It’s quite sad when you are dominating and lose on time

very annoying

If you think it's unfair you're losing timed games, don't play times games.

Is there a way to see this statistic? I lose blitz games a lot on time and am curious about the proportion.

If you spend too much time to gain a better position, you’ll loose on time. To me, that is perfectly fair. The point is, the more time you take to analyze a position and to decide about a move, the better that move generally will be.

Agreed. I was re-asking the opening question, hoping not to get sidetracked again.

Does anyone know a way?

#4 s as much as I hate to admit it, time management is part of the game. Of you can’t move fast enough, you lose. If you can’t move good enough, you lose.

Which is why I play daily. Time is not a worry there.

That used to be available in the Stats pages for a player on each time control. It's currently not available but might be back at some point.

Insights, for Diamond members, has that information as well. Insights is only generated for Diamond and diamond members can make their own Insights private.

Thanks Martin. Cast my vote for it's return!

This is pretty close. It doesn't differentiate between bullet, blitz and rapid but I guess I could do the math
