timed games & losing

New member: I cannot find info. I have lost games on time when I had far superior position. I am going down to a 701 - I was up to 1100+/- I am not good but this stinks. Am I losing track of time? I am not stalling. They need a game of 15 minutes with 30 second moves and take longer then lose 30 seconds as penalty. I have no rhyme or reason when I know my opponent took longer on turns. (NOTE: since posting I found solution to controling game times on right middle panel but have left this up for others benefit. You can find most answers by Google question and add chess.com. It is also fun to look back and see what a dork brain I have been at times while learning :-)

The secret is to play longer time controls.

15/10 is what I prefer as you have time to think...
