Timeouts in Daily chess

When playing daily chess I experience a number of timeouts from other players.
I don't automatically claim victories, because I want to give the players a chance to finish the game and my priority is to play and not to claim points for nothing, especially when the board situation is developed and interesting.
However many players after their 50 games time out go down in ranking significantly, so if they go back to play eventually and finally defeat me this could make me lose a huge number of points, since they no longer have 1300 points (as at the beginning of the game), but 700.

I don't suppose there's a good way to defend against this, but is there perhaps some setting that would block daily chess for players with high percentage of timeouts? (me from seeing their challenges and them from joining mine).

Also - is there a way to remove games from archive?, again, I would mainly like to remove those that ended with timeouts, especially those timed out at the very beginning of the game.

Website:
Play -> Daily Chess
New Game -> Custom Challenge
More Options -> Select "Avoid Time-Outs" option

You can also select the "Premium Members Only" option. Then you won't have to worry about your opponent timing out daily games.

Thanks, that certainly helps.

Due to my study time I always lost my games being timed out. Well, what is the heck why i cant join tournament for the above timed out reason? what is the probable disqualification the site want to point out?

ok thank you.

I have a question. I give move one or two in 24 hours, why i am timed out?

You only time out if you exceed the time control on any move

how many moves per 24 hours?

One. You have to move once within that time period.

ok. So I understood that one move per 24 hours. That means in my territory if I play only 1 (one) move, I am safe from losing the game.
In brief. I woke up in the morning. played one move and call it a day. Again next day one move. Am I clear?

It is 24 hours after your opponent moves.

In daily chess, you can set conditional moves, which is a move that plays for you right after your opponent's move.

If your opponent uses one, and you check again around the same time the next day, it might be slightly over 24 hours.

However, if it is your opponent's turn, you will be safe.

Well. It says 3 days per move. that is enough for me. I actually give one or two moves per day. So I am right. Now I have to watch why I lose game next time.

All three of your current games are 1 day per move games. As @binomine says, it depends on when your opponent makes their move.

You'll have at least 24 hours after making your move to make your next move, but could be up to 48 hours if your opponent waits the whole time control to make their move.
