Do you think there is any benefit of having a username and your real first name on your homepage ? e.g. kco-(Kelvin), BorgQueen-(Brad), goldendog-(Tom) etc.

nwav

It does serve as a reminder as to what information I have given the site...

No, why?

Yes, it's a nice hint there are real human beings at the other side of the screen and we'd be better to behave like it.

I highly doubt anyone's behavior will be affected by this.

@  UVF02368, true, the only thing it would be hard to prove it though, for example chess.com can do it by credit card, e-mail but children may have borrow thier parent's credit card and peoples paid by paypal and so on.

Benefit? I don't know what you're asking, Kelvin? But I have a serious question for you: Dark matter?Laughing

I think some of the people who post outrageous comments should be required to give their real name along with a username. May be they would think twice before saying some of the things they do.

kco

I can see why women/girl don't want to put thier name up because the men do some funny reaction toward them.

if you are talking about trysts her name is Sharon.

1pawndown

That was one of the people I had in mind.

oinquarki

In summary; all men over 18 should be required to provide proof of identity so that we know they're human beings and that they think twice.

kco

I am only talking about our first name only. This thing may not work here well because we got think of the children first for thier protection.

Thanks, kco. Do you want to give crazy people my S.S.# as well?Laughing

kco

I don't know your last name so you are pretty safe here for now, you mention your name on your profile so there is no secret there. Smile

What, do you WANT to turn trolls into an endangered species?

1pawndown

Crazy people make insane comments, hide behind a user name and get upset when someone reveals their first name. If you truly have something to say, put your name to it .... like a guy named "JOHN HANCOCK" did a couple of centuries ago.

You have Sharon Stone's number?  C'mon now, hook me up.  (But, just between you and me, do you really think she likes crazy people?)  Laughing
