It's really "just too bad" and when you play enuff games afterwards one undeserved lose won't matter anyway because eventually you're going to end up with an accurate (or mostly accurate) rating of your current playing strength. Besides, if you keep on playing turn-based chess you're going to end up winning a fair # of games where your opponents "timed out" regardless of why or how, and you'll pick up rating pts for games you might have won - or drawn - or lost.

My computer became infected by a virus. It had go away to be 'cleaned'. I lost by time in an online game. I thus lost points.
How about a way of making the game void or is it just too bad?
