I think this was a dangerous decision by Chess.com…
Why chess.com uses the catalan flag? Catalonia is not a country. It's a spanish region so only the spanish flag would be used.

Not all Chess.com flags are country flags.Don't be ignorant.Catalonia is not an exception or anything.
The OP is right, but it only happens in V3.

They don't even allows politics in the forums they should not allow an waving an independentist flag, it is enough concession to be able to wave it's regional flag, something I can not do
The problem is that the actual flag is wrong.
Catalonia´s flag is 
Thats the right one. Thats the official flag. Right now is not, so they should change it.

There are several "countries" in the chess.com countries list that aren't really countries, like Canary Islands, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Catalonia. Clearly sometime ago chess.com decided to let people say, "hey dude, this is the country I'm from as I see it, so leave it be". Clearly it means something to them or they would have entered Spain or the U.S. as their country. Moderators: do you have any comment on this?

I read on the BBC yesterday that the 'president' is being prevented from entering Liberland by the Croatian River Police. It might be dissolved soon :-(

It would need to erode away before it could dissolve. I think they were allowed on boats around Liberland.
I have just realized that you changed the flag of Catalonia. The actual one is not the official one but the flag of a political movement: the independentist movement. I have nothing against the independentist flag nor the independentist movement but you should consider if you want to include flags of political movements in Chess.com. In any case, I would appreciate if you could set back the former flag to keep using it as I've been doing for so long.
