The floor actually updates pretty quickly. I want to say it happens within a day or two of an event being rated, maybe even faster.
Are USCF rating floors based on the monthly supplement or the actual rating?

My USCF rating became 1452, thus meaning I should have a rating floor of 1200. This rating, however, I just received today and won't show up as official until January. 1452 is the rating that is used to calculate the rating of my opponents after playing me, however. In order to achieve a rating floor of 1200, do I have to hold onto a rating above 1400 until it becomes my official monthly supplement or do I have the rating floor secure now? Thanks
