It seems that in several tournaments, including this one, one game, in this case a game that does not effect the progress of the tournament, holds up the tournament. During another recent tournament a participant held up progress for several weeks while on vacation.
Can we do something to allow the tournament to procede when the next rounds participants have been decided? The game that is holding things up could continue while the subsequent round is being started.
Just a suggestion to keep things moving.
