Help! Running a tournament

I am hosting a tournament for my company and so far it's not running smoothly.  I am trying to schedule it for a daily play from 4-6 for  3 days and have the finalist play on Friday. Is anyone available for a live zoom today 9/14 prior to 4 EDT to walk me through it? No live response from support.

I haven't run any tournaments but I see the problems reported that people run into.

The Help topic on setting up a live tournament seems pretty thorough.

I don't think you can have a live tournament run for multiple days.

Do you mean the time control or the tournament starting time?

Ok, so I have to run tournaments daily if I want to run for a week, good to know. Yes, am I able to make the "time control" tournament run from i.e. 4-7? this gives a person an opportunity to join when they can within the timeframe, correct? chess.com will then match, correct

The time control Sets how much time each player gets in a game.  I don't know what you are used to. Ten minutes is the most popular on this site.

You can set the duration of Arena tournaments. They end precisely. Any games in process are just cut off and cancelled.

People can join or leave Arena tournaments when they want...

But you have to have a minimum of five players to start it .

Maybe you should try playing in one before you host one.

Events also require a minimum number of players in a the start or they will automatically cancel.
