Introduction to the Sicilian Tournament

Well, as u can see in the games database, the popularity of the sicilian is fading away, slowly. Neverthless, You are right. It IS as good idea, because it still is one of the most popular openings in chess...
Indeed, but that's because the popularity of 1.e4 is decreasing... However, I don't think the popularity of the sicilian is decreasing when 1.e4 is already played, oui?
To those whom aren't that familiar with the Sicilian and want to practice with like-minded players to evolve one's own Sicilian skills.
I started playing chess for what is now soon three weeks ago and need to really master some openings, and I thought this tournament would be a great idea for just that! If you don't know the Sicilian, join and learn it; if you have already mastered it, join in and help teach us (!!!) at the same time as you hone your skills.
This is mostly a low level tournament and I hope everyone will learn at the same time as having a lot of fun!
We can help each other out when playing a game, e.g., discussing what's the best line from now etc. (Not meant to be telling the opponent how to not get checkmated, though!

This can lead to all different cool openings, usch as the Dragon or Najdorf, or even the super-awesome "Hyperaccelerated Dragon Defence", who wouldn't want to investigate such an awesome opening!?!?
