Minimum number of players for a live arena tournament to start

Hi, what is the above? There seems to be no answer on chess.com to this question.

Pretty sure there have to be at least 6 players for a Swiss tourney, though not certain on an Arena.

I need the same information: how many for arena and how many for swiss? Thank you!

I had 5 on an Arena this weekend; I believe that is the lowest you can have.

I had once 3 members and it was cancelled.

Last week I did a live club tournament (swiss) with 4.

...and it did happen, the only thing was that from set 5 rounds, it restricted us to 3.

Same for Arena I think, my club tournament didn't start because only 3 registered players but a new one started with 4.
