Do scores from earlier preliminary rounds still count in the later rounds? I mean, if you are in round 2, you could have more 'round 2' points than anyone else in your round 2 group, but a lower 'round 1 plus round 2' score than another player. Who wins the round 2 group then? Or are earlier round scores maybe just used as another kind of tiebreaker?
