They changed it so an immaterial game wouldn't stop the rest of the tournament from progressing.
That remaining game has no possibility of affecting who goes on to the next round.

So i am playing the following tourney and even though there is a game yet to be finished in the 1st round, i don't know how the 2nd round started!
