pre-moves/conditional moves. How?

Making pre-moves is easy during live games but I can’t figure out how to do it in daily tournaments. I read a how-to online that mentions a “conditional move icon to the right of the board” but I don’t see it. Non-premium players are making pre-moves against me, so I know it’s possible. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

yes, the symbol to make conditional moves is to the Right of the Board -- specifically stay in line from the 2nd Row of the Board to go Right   and you will see a line of 4 images  ( underneath the score of your game ).    hover your mouse over the 2nd image and it will say "Conditional Moves".   That's the image you have to click on.    ( Hovering over the 1st image says "Analysis" )

Did you find it ?

Based on the wording of your response, I assume you play on a computer/laptop. I play on my iPhone and the screen layout is not as you described. Perhaps it’s not possible to make conditional moves on a mobile device? That seems odd.

You can see the conditional move button with the Safari browser on your iPhone, not the iOS app. And only when it’s your opponent’s turn.

In daily chess you have all day, or days, to make a move.  Why would you want to pre move?

Conditional moves can be useful if you know you won’t be able to connect to the site for the next few days.
