I attended a tournament that has just finished  (http://www.chess.com/tournament/a-fifth-of-scotch)
I think chess.com have done wrong, why tournament was won by a player who has closed due to cheating
sasabl already closed his account because of cheating

Similar thing happened to me (http://www.chess.com/tournament/the-kid-fortress). A guy who finished second cheated, I finished 4th and did not get a medal :/.

Submit a bug report for this old bug. The site attempts to award the medals as you say they should but fails. See here where the gold medal is next to your name.  http://www.chess.com/tournaments/pairings.html?id=27604&round=1

Simply wrong for a cheat to  win.

Well try playing Mandja 960 in a tournament and watch your moves because someone is playing them for you and advancing the game. Now I NAME and SHAME bec this is a FAIR PLAY site and all cheats shoulbd be suspended until they reform themselves. Also I will equip myself with a score board so I can confirm the progress of game BEFORE I make a move. I have suspected CHEATING in tournaments before but just scratched my head thinking it was MY memory to blame CHESS>COM needs to establish a name and shame list that we can refer to before we challenge them.

Come on Ronnee, I get that you're mad and aren't going to take it anymore, but why take a chance of having your own account restricted?  Just delete your post and file a "ticket" before staff reads it.  If the guy was cheating they'll take care of it.

I believe in the chain of command.

Who was the tournament director(TD)? They have did it for you! When they sit back and do nothing then chess.com should restrict them from being a TD of a tournament. Even better chess.com should allow the TD to submit a "correction form" in final standings. They would then have to just take a minute or so to verify it and ok it.... problem solved and smiles everywhere.
