Nairobi Chess Club (NCC) is a small but active club in Kenya. It's the oldest chess club in Kenya, founded in 1958.
NCC provide opportunities for local chess players with events throughout the year. All of them are possible thanks to sponsorships.
Aslam Adam was the first Tournament Director of NCC and a committed player for our club.
He was the winner of Kenya Open in 1981.
Adam is a long time supporter of NCC.

NCC has the pleasure to invite you to the tournament "NCC 2022 KO".
The tournament will start on 2022, Jul.16th. There is no restriction because of the rating.
The system of play will be knock-out. Time control: 2 days/move. Players will have 2 simultaneous games.

Richard Polaczek was a member of Nairobi ChessClub in the 1980s and the youngest player who has won the Kenya Open. He won the first edition in 1979 at the age of 13!
Now he is IM, resides in Belgium, and has represented Belgium in a number of international events.
