Richard Polaczek was a member of Nairobi ChessClub in the 1980s and the youngest player who has won the Kenya Open. He won the first edition in 1979 at the age of 13!
Now he is IM, resides in Belgium, and has represented Belgium in a number of international events.
This online tournament is devoted to honouring his contribution to Nairobi Chess Club.
