Tournaments with cash prizes

I suggest to give Premium Members the opportunity to attract sponsors.

Let's say I want to organize a tournament with invited me International Masters and Grandmasters. But they will not play in my tournament without prizes. At the same time, I have business people who are willing to be sponsors of such tournaments

What is the mechanism of the tournaments that I offer?

1. I am negotiating with sponsors that  their advertisement will be displayed in the profile of IG and IM, which participate in the tournament. Advertisement of sponsors showing in the tournament and the internal forum team or tournament

2. Advertisement of sponsors will be displayed only during the tournament

3. For this tournament Chess.com makes internal sub-account to transfer money for the tournament

What is the benefit for Chess.com?

1. Chess.com get new members - Grandmasters and Masters. Prestige Chess.com will grow

2. More titular members on Chess.com, the more popular site among beginners who want to look at the game of chess grandmasters online

Who likes my offer?

Good idea. But how to do it on Chess.com? In the tournament options, no team tournaments

One way to get sponsors is to call the tournament after the primary sponsor - for instance the Shell International Tournament or the Exxon International Tournament.  Sponsors like to see their name on the tournament.

One way to avoid cheating is to do like they do in the http://www.uschessleague.com/ where there is an reputable arbiter who will oversee the game (s) - also games must be played in public location (one of the other requirements in order to promote chess => if u play at home, u won't promote chess as much as if from a public location where ppl can see the game being played live).  I believe they do this with arbiters in other online tournaments as well.

I would love to see some type of online team tournament (say 4 players / city) even if no prizes.  I know I can get 4 players from Calgary to challenge any city who would like to play us.

I do not think that grandmasters and masters will use chess programs

The problem is that presence of cash makes (c)heating more likely and far more problematic, and you don't have bulletproof methods of detecting it.
