So I have finally entered the top 2% of players in something, having achieved a rating of 1959 in online chess. My live ratings are really terrible, though, and I'm going to have to put some serious work into turning them around. Remember: it's far easier to attack than defend!
To celebrate my highest rating, I'm posting an Online game. It was encouraging how I turned a dead draw into a win with 13 completely accurate moves to finish. I'm particularly proud of the moves 34. Bc4 and 42. Ke5 within that string, both not immediately obvious but necessary to prevent the draw.
