It's not THAT easy to update IMDB. Trust me. I can't get them to list Long Live the Dead, and we're already shooting the sequel.
As far as actors go: I want to play myself. 
Better yet, we'll get Val Kilmer to play me, and I'll play Cheater_1 (he's bound to have the best lines). 
One possible plot could be the initial vote chess game between Cheater_1 and Chess.com. I'm sure that has all the drama and comedy already built in.
If we were to write a fictional plot using all the main characters from Chess.com, who would need to be included?
I'm sure there are MANY users who contribute GREATLY to this awesome community. Let's hear their names!!
For starters we've got: Erik, Baseballfan, Rael, Artfizz, Cheater_1, AWARDCHESS, thegab03, Diana_L, Mafian_with_Ponytail. These are just a few of the names I seem to see all over the place. Who else do we have in our cast of characters?

How about working on the sub-plots? Conspiracies always play well. Aliens: popular - if the make-up is done properly. They'll have to be a scene in a seedy space bar, of course.
Cameo appearances by ? (who's still around?) Maybe something arty: foreign language (subtitled) to capture the inpenetrability of chess. Shoot the whole thing in black & white, obviously.

Well, as the leader of the American group, I challenged team cheater_1 to vote chess. I want to be the unknown hero who leads my team to victory against the big bad cheater_1

ERIK: Unless ...
Before 'Erik' can complete the sentence, we pull back a bit more to reveal the decor, and it gradually becomes apparent that this is the early 1940's and the two characters are in fact: Cheater-1's grandfather and Erik's grandfather.

As long as you're not in the Spielberg mould. (Great guy, don't get me wrong!) But this one will need sensitive handling; there are massive egos involved. Budget contraints could be also a problem - so you'll have to be prepared to pull some Bowfinger (Steve Martin) stunts. We're still short of a Yiddish (Woody Allen) angle; that Zelig idea worked rather well.

I was wondering whether Mike Myers would consider reprising his roles and playing both Erik AND Cheater-1. (Peter Sellers being no longer available). Another candidate in the frame to play Erik - someone instantly recognisable, affable, heart of gold: Kermit the Frog?

I was hoping Leonardo DiCaprio might be available to play Cheater_1. For Billium, we're gonna need a BIG name. Danny DeVito (Get Shorty) - what do you think?

Imagine for a moment, that Hollywood decided to make a movie about chess.com ...
What genre would it be? What would be the basic plot? How would the car chases fit in (unless it was a chick flick)? Which big names would be in the leading roles - or would you go with unknowns? Where would it be set? Any surprising plot twists? Suggest a few memorable quotes from the movie. Pick a director (don't worry about the producer!).
