When you say "online chess", chess.com uses that terminology for the days per move correspondence chess.

Is this one of the games you were talking about? This was a 3 days per move game. Are you saying that you weren't able to log in for 3 days?
Do you have automatic vacation set up in case you can't make a move in time?
