Don't move your queen out early on

He moved his queen out early on, and I began trapping it with my knights. He eventually resigned. (I was black)

I can think of alot more to say about that game than 'don't bring your Queen out early', and technically to my eyes he didn't really 'bring it out' more used it to defend a pawn when he shouldn't have had to.

Basically for move 3. d3 by white is simply an awful move in that position as it blocks his Light Bishop; he could have easily gone Bc4 / Bb5.

I'm pretty new myself, but that was just a bad opening by White

Thanks guys, i just wanted to show an example. Perhaps this would be a better one.

It's also a good example of a grand fork, where you fork a king, rook, and queen simultaneously.
