I'll give it a go for it will not change much seeing the situation!
A TALLY OF DATABASE-USERS & NON-USERS

Idea: could someone kindly set up a
Team Users vs Team Non-Users,
Match Play, 3-day per Move Format... for fun.
With the results per match posted in this thread by either the winner and the loser in the match (as well by the sideliners)... for good-natured bantering.

If two new groups are created, the standard Team Match mechanism will be available. The results of all the individual paired games will be visible to everyone.
Circle of Trust OTB is somewhat equivalent to Team Users.

Go for it. What I mean, is that everyday I play againt users so really in that sense it will not change much!
I don't use them during games. I find that if I'm using a chess engine it won't do anything to imrpove my own game.

I've created a group Tally Team Users.

Mainstreet: Are you going to create a corresponding group for non-users?

You're joking, nice one artfizz!

Yes,why not set up a match? And then play the rematch, from the other side of the board.Good idea,I am a supporter,is anyone from the staff available to start this vote game?

Artfizz, bring the Team Match on, my friend!

The Tally Team Non-Users group is only 75% of the size of the Tally Team Users group (http://www.chess.com/groups/home/tally-team-users) - so it would hardly be a sporting contest (yet!).
(You will be aware that a group admin can send up to 30 messages a day. This could be useful for sending an invitation to a comma separated list of tally respondents from post #812).

How about a "thegab03 vs. duffer1965 " chess match , best of three?
I'ld love to, teach the owl bro some disipline!

Great posts, Gaby! :))
Artfizz, I'm in the process of inviting the Non-Users to join the Tally Team Non-Users. It will take about 4 days to invite everyone as the site allows only 30 invitations per day. Let the buzz sink in for a while... then kindly create the Match Play Invitation, and let the Friendship War begin!

What are the rules for the match?
None yet. If you have any suggestions, kindly post them here so everyone can appreciate them.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT GOALS CAN BE ACHIEVED AND WHAT WILL BE PROVEN IN THE PROPOSED MATCH BETWEEN USERS AND NON-USERS BUT I'M WILLING TO PARTICIPATE.
I'M ALSO WILLING TO ENGAGE THE NON-USERS AT THEIR OWN TERMS (THAT IS, OTB-LIKE) AND AT LEAST 1 DAY/MOVE... AND PLEASE, MATCH ME WITH A PLAYER WITH MORE OR LESS THE SAME RATING, IF THERE'S ANY. (RIGHT NOW I'M AT 2484 BUT WITH A LOSING GAME, I'LL DROP TO THE LOW 2400s).
ALSO, I DON'T NEED TO WAIT FOR THE PROPOSED MATCH TO START. I'M READY TO PLAY NOW! SEND ME A MESSAGE SO I CAN RESET MY SETTINGS.

2400! Woah! I hope we can find a match for you.
The Friendship War, if it has to prove anything, is to experience friendship by-through-beyond the royal game.
And if you're really up to a game now, accept a challenge from a lowly 1600s - me. (I hope I can make you think harder, if not at all create a draw with you.)
