Feature Request: Alert Sounds - Customisation

These facilities, naturally, would have to be reserved for paying customers -(before anyone points out that free-loading visitors always want more for nothing!)

It should be possible for everyone implement this locally ON THEIR OWN computer. The chess.com window title changes from:
- My Online Chess - Chess.com (assuming you've clicked on PLAY -> Online Chess) to
- xyz vs artfizz - Online Chess - Chess.com - when you're viewing a game, but it's not your move. Then to
- MY MOVE! - xyz vz artfizz - Chess.com - when it's your move on that game.
Using a scripting tool (e.g. AutoIt) that can detect window titles, play a .WAV file (usingSound Recorder) when a browser window (or browser tab) is detected that begins with "MY MOVE!".

I've got this working in a basic form - to notify you at least one game is waiting. I'm using THIS .WAV file ... from Star Trek, where Dr. Crusher says: "Back to square one."

Ironically, using a single spoken statement for frequently occurring events turns out to be more tedious than using a simple sound. I'm going to switch to using a random selection of phrases.

I keep my ipod on by my computer - the chess.com app makes a sound whenever I have a move. Or new facebook update/email, but hey.

Indeed, there is a 'thud' sound alert for moves - which I have supplemented with a .WAV file. However, there is no audible alert for topics which you are monitoring.

You're already supposed to have one of those ... in your head!

..it mumbles too much.
Are there any plans to allow customisation of the alert sounds for turn-based chess? I would find it helpful to have the option of distinct voice messages:
a) "it's your move", "you've been challenged", etc.
b) ideally, customisable at the PC, in the same way as Sound Themes for Windows.
Just an idea...
