911 truther crap isn't going to inform anyone of anything but the prevalence of paranoia afoot in society.
I personally find the ideas of generating mindfulness and compassion a great way of moving forward in life. It also helps to be a winner at the chessboard. It may take a long time to explain but these Buddist principles can be applicable and very useful in many facets of life - including chess. The link is not an obvious one and lots of ideas do seem counterintuitive but they do make sense when practiced diligently. Here, I'd like to give LearningCoach credit and my personal gratitude for opening new doors to knowledge...
I'll bring just one example: clearing mind through meditation can be a tremendous boost in helping oneself in life and in chess. One will see things more clearly and objectively in one's life and on the board; one will also realize how much one yet needs to learn. This realization will help to be more forgiving of one's past mistakes and create a clear path towards improvement. One of the first (and best) things one can do is to learn to be compassionate to oneself. :)
