I wore a low-cut top to a blitz tournament once with this very idea in mind...............the strong players still crushed me, but they did it with a slightly larger smile than usual......my boobs and I went home a defeated trio.
I would depend entirely on the quality of her gaze

Looks like my score is +8-8=0, and your image / avator has no effect on me. You play right, you win; otherwise lose. Many players I have seen in real life play substandard against an attctice women, but I usually suceed in seeing them as 'god forbid' human. Still many of these dress in shimpy clothing, and I presumes it makes for some over the board successes and also awkward moments along the way. With women, I play the move and never the person.

I think with a lot of things it's all an illusion.
I often come across players on here that play insanely fast, far faster than they need to for a 10 minute blitz. It seems to me they think they are being intimidating, but i couldn't care less if they play fast or slow. I'll still play exactly the same way as i always do. I don't care if i'm playing someone fast, slow, attacking, defensive, male, female or a martian. Online or in person.

I used to complain to the arbitres when nearly every female I played seemed to be writing help notes on MY scoresheet. Then I cottoned on it was their phone numbers. I just have to realise, when you're this handsome, it's always gonna happen .........
