I have the TASC cd and would like to get the workbooks for step 3,4, and 5. Where can I buy these? Has anyone used the workbooks and some of the extra booklets? I hear there is a new TASC program which is not completed. Stwils.

I am surprised that no one has added comment . On another forum discussing tactics someone suggested this method for help with tactics. Have you heard that it was good to help your tactics? Stwils.

Thanks for the remark.  Did you use the method?

my kid has done steps 1 and 2, plus the extra and plus and stepping stones 1 and 2, I thought they were great but a bit dry. the jeff coakley stuff is great too, though less systematic. you can buy them from london chess and bridge. good luck.

In reference to the Step Method, I have a question concerning when to use the extra and plus workbooks. I have the manual, workbook (can't find the extra/plus books right now). do you start using the extra/plus books as you are going thru the work book, lesson by lesson or do you use them at the end of the workbook. I see in the back of trainers manual that the plus exercises (8) are listed after all the lessons. but there is no mention of when to do them. I'm assuming that the extra/plus exercises are done immediately following each lesson. can you please clarify this or point me to someone that can?
